Touring Saskatoon showhomes is always a real treat and visiting a Norwood showpiece always leaves me pumped.

Norwood builds only about four or five homes a year, but every new residence has the company's unique stamp on it.

Take the latest showhome at 1110 Wilkins Cres. in Willowgrove for instance. As usual the quality of the finish is top notch, but the 2,290 square foot home has a captivating design flow and nifty practical layout; you can't help but linger when you stroll through.

Gleaming bamboo hardwood, high ceilings, porcelain tile, granite and cultured stone all meld with natural light and discreet interior incandescents to create a sense of tranquility from every viewpoint.

A custom-made double-sided gas fireplace sends out its soft ribbon of flame towards the great room and the dining nook. The cosy scene is reflected towards the kitchen—a true culinary escape.

Hand-built maple cabinetry by Capella Cabinets, vast swaths of granite countertop and enough elegant storage would keep two professional chefs happy for many years.

Main floor laundry, powder room and den help shape the home's practical aspects.

All three bedrooms are located on the second floor, with the master suite offering a walk-in closet and a large tiled shower and tub ensuite.

Along with all the many upgrades, textured porcelain tiling is used in both upstairs bathrooms, and like all tile flooring in the home, including the kitchen, these surfaces all have in-floor heating.
